Italy Associate PSFR Officer (Leadership Giving) , P2

The incumbent is therefore responsible for the implementation of the Leadership Giving programme in PSFR Italy and making recommendations for strategy and planning of activities. S/he would supervise the PSFR Leadership Giving team in Italy, under the direction of the PSFR Officer and with technical support and inputs from the International PSFR team based in HQ. The Associate PSFR Officer (Leadership Giving) will play a leading role within the PSFR Rome Regional team (including Portugal and Greece) being responsibe for corporate and foundations fund raising strategy setting, coordination of corporate and foundations fund raising policies, capacity and training on corporate fund raising, corporate and foundations screening of any new partner wanting to enter into a relationship with UNHCR.

S/he will directly manage major companies and foundations which includes performing direct contact with high level representatives, nurturing existing accounts, negotiating new partnership and grant agreements, representing UNHCR at corporate events. The incumbent will be also accountable for the cultivation of existing High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and identification and acquisition of new ones

Additionally, it should be noted that the incumbent will be asked to provide support and guidance as well as budget advice for Leadership Giving activities in Portugal and in Greece and other countries of the Rome Region in the future, if and when required.

Under the guidance of the supervisor, the Associate PSFR Officer (Leadership Giving) will also manage relations with partners, media, contractors and suppliers for PSFR programmes and supervise the Leadership Giving team in their contact with external partners.

The incumbent will function as liaison person between the Rome Regional Representation and PSFR HQs on Leadership giving matters.
