Local Production Planner - Packaging & Brewing

Purpose of role
To plan production effectively to ensure Supply delivers products in the right quantities and mix to satisfy demand. To achieve this, our brew houses should be self-sufficient as far as liquid supply to the lines is concerned.

Accountabilities


  • Commit to Occupational Health and Safety standards. Frequently state and articulate that Safety is our No.1 priority. Be visible as an ambassador for safety by behaving in a safe manner at all times and always challenging unsafe practices and behaviour of others, reprimanding where appropriate. Adhere strictly to the site safety rules and systems and equipment operational procedures.

  • Run Demand Solutions on a daily basis to provide the Packaging Team with planned orders in SAP

  • Open ‘Stock Requirements list’ in SAP (MD04) to check if the planned orders for Brewing are in line with our plan and advise the Head Brewer appropriately.

  • Compile and circulate the daily packaging and brewing reports for all sites showing the plan and the actual.

  • Lead the daily production meeting discussions and follow up on all action points in the minutes.

  • Prepare the monthly production report showing current and planned targets and present at the weekly planning review meetings each Friday morning.

  • Capture all action points and changes in plans at the weekly review meeting and circulate to all stakeholders. Follow up and ensure compliance.

Qualification & Experience Required


University Graduate – Preferably in the Sciences.

Skills/knowledge
Strong understanding of end to end supply chain operational processes
Proven customer service, inventory and line efficiency delivery
Strong networking, influencing & communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Computer literacy

Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar job
