Regional Training Manager United States-Utah-Salt Lake City
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY – Regional Training Manager
• Overall responsibility for the development and delivery of training and performance initiatives. Responsible for achieving budget and Key Performance Indicator targets for his or her respective area of responsibility.
• Effectively communicate with administrators, instructors and developers in order to manage and delegate work. Must also be aggressive and self-motivated in order to meet the customers' needs and lead by example, and be committed to developing the skills of staff members.
• Develop, implement, and execute effective training strategies and methodologies. Manages the design, development and delivery of training and performance improvement initiatives.
• Fosters collaborative working relationships with Line Managers and Supervisors in order to promote learning and development that aligns with business strategy.
• Ensures development and administration of training and follows a systematic instructional design methodology. Integral team member to assess organizational attrition needs.
• This position will be based out of Salt Lake City.
• Partner with the sites to coordinate training and development of training activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or Master’s in Adult Education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide direction, establishing work standards and accountability, thus building a high performance work team required.
• Ability to relate to others in an open and respectful manner required.
• Demonstrates flexibility when relating to a variety of people and situations.
• Possess a clear understanding of business and financial acumen.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Understanding of various training models preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent oral, written communication skills required.
• Experience in mining or heavy industry preferred.
