SOCIAL MOBILISATION OFFICERS: HAS (5 POSTS)

Salary: R101 007 per annum (Level 5) (Ref. MPDoH/Nov/11/35)


Requirements: • Matric and/or equivalent qualification • Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, STIs and TB • Understanding of group dynamics, culture diversities, community development and involvement • Good verbal and written communication skills • Valid driver's licence and knowledge of the Subdistrict • Team player who is able to work under pressure.


Duties: • Implement the communication strategy for HIV/AIDS, STIs and TB • Conduct community awareness campaigns • Assist in establishing a support group • Facilitate the sitting of the Social Mobilisation Committee at Subdistrict level • Compile a Subdistrict calendar of events • Ensure the availability of EC material and other promotional material • Establish new secondary condom distribution sites • Write reports.
