Norton Rose Australia seeks applications from qualified and highly experienced consultant in Tax Administration for an assignment in Jakarta, Indonesia for up to 10 months fulltime with possible extension for a further 12-36 months.

The consultant will lead provision of support to the Government of Indonesia as part of the AusAID-funded Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG) managed by Norton Rose Australia.

The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate:

  • high level experience in tax administration and reform management
  • extensive senior management experience in a national government tax office
  • success in delivering tax administration and reform including related organisational reform
  • delivery of advice reflecting strategic considerations and realistic applications given the operating environment
  • ability to converse and operate in a culturally sensitive manner from ministerial to operational staff level
  • strong change management skills as change is a core issue
  • trust from your counterparts and ability to build rapport in sensitive circumstances.

The financial package will be negotiated in accordance with the AusAID Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF).
