Uganda Grants Manager

Supporting Access to Justice, Fostering Equity & Peace (SAFE Program)
The International Division of the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified Grants Manager candidates for an anticipated five-year program, “Supporting Access to Justice, Fostering Equity & Peace” (SAFE Program) to be funded by USAID.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience managing similar grants programs in Uganda.

The Grants Manager will manage a dynamic portfolio working with partner organization, in Kampala and in 20 districts throughout the country, to strengthen land administration, improve access to justice, support dispute resolution mechanisms, provide legal aid services, prevent or mitigate conflict and promote reconciliation in Uganda.
Competitive candidates will have:
· Five or more years of experience serving as a Project Grants Manager in Uganda.
· Experience with USAID technical and financial reporting requirements. In-depth understanding of grant-making processes and procedures from inception to close-out.
· Strong organizational skills, rigorous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities needed to perform effectively in a demanding position.
· Demonstrated commitment to ethics, transparency, and accountability in grant-making.
· Education in grants management, financial management, accounting or other relevant degree strongly preferred.
