Overview

As a Direct Marketing Officer, your aim is to develop and implement a programme of fundraising communications to generate new regular givers through a variety of media, but primarily through door-to-door, managing operational aspects of campaign planning and execution.

Ideally, you will possess considerable experience in a busy direct marketing or fundraising environment. Vital to this role will also be your experience of DM campaign management where you have liaised with external suppliers. A strong working knowledge of face-to-face fundraising techniques, such as doorstep and street fundraising, will be an advantage, as will good knowledge of other regular giving acquisition techniques and mechanics, such as telephone fundraising.

Also essential to the role will be your communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with external suppliers and internal departments. If you are a highly motivated, innovative and creative thinker, then this is a great opportunity to make a difference.
