Research Assistant (Public Health); & Research Assistant (Policy Analyst) WaterAid
WaterAid in Australia’s new Internship Program provides an opportunity for recent graduates and young professionals to gain practical experience in an International NGO. Research Assistants will undertake policy and research work contributing to influencing the policies of key stakeholders, to secure and protect the right of poor people to access safe, affordable water and sanitation services. Both positions are with the Policy & Campaigns team based in Melbourne. Where possible, interns will undertake a placement in a WaterAid country office in Timor-Leste or Papua New Guinea. This is a full time internship from May to December, 2012. Eligible candidates will have the appropriate academic qualifications, relevant research experience and an interest in international development issues.
