Head of Human Resource Management

Contribute to the company’s achievement of its strategic and operational objectives through providing leadership and management of Strategic Human Resources Processes, resulting in building a high performance work culture that attracts, retains & rewards top performers in an objective manner.

Job Responsibilities
Manage, oversee and coordinate all recruitment and placement activities for the organization based on the Topgrading Method to fill organizational resource requirements with “A Players” from local, regional and international talent pools. Recruit directly with hiring manager for key positions.
Manage, oversee and maintain all Job Descriptions before any position is approved for replacement or new vacancy, and ensure each Job Description is evaluated once a year on a staggered cycle to ensure accurate Job Evaluation
Manage Reward Process (guaranteed pay, performance increments, incentive schemes) based on full coverage of all employees under approved performance management systems and external benchmarking of job sizes using the Calibr8 Method, and salaries using appropriate survey data
Ensure Training & Professional Development is carried out in a focused manner based on approved training scope & schedule. Personally provide training to all hiring managers on Topgrading Method of recruitment.
Actively participate & contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team in Strategy, Operations and Board Meetings, at other leadership forums, and through actions & projects taken on to improve company operations.
Champion, model and proliferate Culture (as defined by Company Values, CSR Priorities and Spirit of Partnership) starting from the New Employee Induction & Orientation Process, Organizing & Integrating Culture Building & Reinforcing Events through appropriate company communication, events & activities, to the Employee Separation Process.
Provide support & mentoring to HR Officers/Managers at all company locations to assist them in meeting developing & improving company HR policy setting & practice, meeting regulatory & legislative obligations, maintain a positive work culture & industrial relations, and continuously improve and maintain administrative procedures.

Position Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resource Management
Experience
  • Eight Years in Senior Managerial HR Position at a 250+ Employee Company
  • Extensive experience in recruiting to induction process for junior to senior management & technical positions
  • Supporting Multiple Company Locations
Knowledge and Skills
  • Performance Management Systems
  • Strong preference given for experience in Balanced Scorecard Method for Goal Alignment
  • Strong preference given for experience in Incentive Schemes linked to Strategic & Operational Performance
  • Competency Based Recruitment
  • Strong preference given for experience in Topgrading Method and DISC Profiling
  • Job Evaluation leading to Job Sizing & Benchmarking
  • Strong preference given for experience in workflow automation and using ERP software to manage operations (especially SAP R3/All-in-One)
  • High level of fluency in MS Excel & Google Apps
  • Excellent problem solving skills & decision making by applying analytics and creative thinking

Salary: Our client is willing to offer a competitive remuneration to the right candidate.
