Legacy marketing manager

Legacies bring around 15% of Christian Aid’s voluntary income. Do you share our ambition to grow this figure significantly? Do you have the understanding of international development and church based, community supporters that will enable you to effectively lead our legacy marketing team as we expand our work with churches, supporter groups and our regional teams?

We have just brought our legacy team together with our individual fundraisers to ensure the legacy message is embedded in the team. You will be a hands on and proactive manager, capable of both new thinking and of getting the best from existing structures and networks. The geographically dispersed parts of your team provide great reach into our supporter networks, encouraging both legacy and in memory giving. You will have particular responsibility for leading our work with Will Aid to capitalise on its exciting growth.

You will have substantial fundraising experience with a track record of working on legacy, community or major donor fundraising; detailed understanding of legacy giving; significant experience of developing and implementing fundraising; significant experience of public speaking and strong presentation skills.

You will also have the ability to devise, implement and manage budgets and strategies, with good database analysis skills and be able to devise, implement and manage creatives for brochures and advertising and possess good copywriting skills.
