Site Team Leader: Electrical Function

Lead the Electrical team, be responsible for the development of human resources, systems and procedures, and electrical integrity of new facilities, as well as unique technical solutions in support of existing facilities.

Qualifications and expertise should include:

• A BSc/B Eng degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 10-12 years’ experience in a technical/technical management position, preferably in a petrochemical environment
• Leadership in an electrical engineering environment
• Appropriate management experience
• Strong broad-based technical experience
• Knowledge of national and international specifications/standards
• Knowledge of the OHS Act and its implications
• Familiarity with electrical discipline activities required during project execution
• A Government Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Engineer, a business qualification, eg BCom, MBA, MBL or a postgraduate Engineering degree, as well as registration as a Professional Engineer are preferred qualifications and would prove advantageous.
