Team Leader: Quality, Construction & Commissioning
Support: Electrical Function
Sasolburg/Secunda

This role will see you lead the Electrical Commissioning Team, responsible for quality, construction and commissioning support. Functions include equipment inspections, factory and site acceptance tests, planning and execution of testing and commissioning activities. You’ll also be required to resolve on-site construction issues.

Qualifications and expertise should include:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical/technical management position in a petrochemical environment
• A BTech Engineering (Heavy Current) or BEng Electrical (Heavy Current) or equivalent
• Appropriate management experience
• Strong broad-based technical experience
• Knowledge of national and international specifications/standards
• Knowledge of the OHS Act and its implications
• A Government Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Engineer, a business qualification, eg BCom, MBA, MBL, and registration as a Professional Engineer/Technologist and a Master/Installation Electrician, would prove advantageous.
