Saudi Aramco, long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production, and refining, is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Center (SAEC). SAEC is a financer and incubator of new businesses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and small and medium enterprise (SME) businesses in particular. It will contribute to spreading a culture of entrepreneurship and will help introduce the entrepreneurial eco-system in the Kingdom.
You will have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a similar qualification, along with seven years’ work experience in VC Firms, Equity Fund Management, financing organizations and/or SME development funds and institutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Evaluate opportunities for investment, evaluate investment risks, analyze financial data, and perform business and investment valuation.
• Conduct market research on competitive industries and evaluate their products and services, and the demand for these competitive products and services.
• Structure a financial package for the entrepreneur that is flexible to the business needs, while ensuring Saudi Aramco’s Entrepreneurship Center (SAEC) is appropriately paid for the risk it is taking on investments and is able to fund future generations of entrepreneurs.
• Evaluate a possible portfolio company and its business plan.
• Screen and analyze entrepreneurs’ business plans, conduct interviews with entrepreneurs and select business plans for due diligence.
• Perform various commercial due diligence activities of entrepreneur’s project: perform financial evaluations of investment opportunities, perform market research, evaluate market attractiveness, and perform investment risk assessment, etc.
• Develop funding plan, loan structure, and loan agreement.
• Assist SAEC staff in conducting various work activities related to supporting SMEs and entrepreneurs in the pre- and post-funding activities.
• Interact with Saudi national and international entrepreneurs, advisors, clients, financing organizations, lawyers, and Saudi Aramco Company departments.
• Develop and deliver presentation to management and clients.
