Finance Controller - Middle East Services Dell - QA-Doha
Responsibilities:
Support the account team in ME with financial support; be the customer-facing dell finance expert on various ME account
Account based Financial planning for the account including Forecasting and Outlook and monthly/quarterly variance analysis (working with the financial coordinator); forecast is done at the LOB level & by service lines.
Center point of contact for SFDC review, Pricing, contracts, compliance, and being very pro-active to meet / exceed the goals for the region.
Looking at the Controls aspect, support delivering the numbers, establishing good process and systems, Standardizing reports to the CE's / PM's & driving GM improvement plans for the ME Accounts.
Ensure contract compliance including time tracking, tracking SLAs, working with project managers on identifying action plans
Review invoicing accuracy and assist dell executives in monthly reviewing invoices with customer, including AR, Unbilled and deferred. (Balance Sheet Review)
Support the monthly and quarterly Dell close process (working with the financial coordinator)
Help customer as needed in their budgeting process
Review task Orders and attend the Task Order Review meetings with the customer & CE. Assist with next-steps decision making.
Offer advice and potential solutions to Dell Team and customer; Investigate and respond to ad hoc questions from the finance Team
Train new PMs to the project financial process; Hold meetings with the PMs to obtain project forecasts
Answer ad hoc questions and offering guidance regarding specific financial situations
Contract management of large contracts, looking at Pipeline, Opportunity and coordinating with Pricing team and review of Deals during various DGR Process.
Being able to manage people in various function and coordinating to get things done and ablity to resolve problem working with cross functional teams.
Highly customer facing roles and actively participating in ME Finance Council and other Council to represent Services.
Qualifications
Skills needed for the job:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent ability to gather and synthesis facts
Excellent cross functional work ability across disparate and large teams
Preferably, well versed in the services delivery environment and with Dell systems
Customer handling skills
Good knowledge of ME region and services knowledge very essential.
Minimum of bachelor's degree finance with good accounting and analytical skills.
Needs to be hands on with good knowledge of systems.
10 to 12 years of experience for non-manager; 12+ years work experience managing teams for senior managers
