BBC Sports News is looking for three presenters to work on sports bulletins for BBC World TV News produced from the BBC Sports Centre in Salford Quays.
Sports News is the part of BBC Sport that provides the daily sports journalism and newsstories for the whole of the BBC. The Sports Centre provides multiplatform content for TV, radio and online teams and also generates sports news bulletins for the BBC News Channel, network TV news, BBC World Service and World TV News, and Radio 5 Live

Role

In this role you will primarily work with the BBC World News sports output team presenting sports news bulletins on the BBC World TV News channel throughout the day. You will work closely with output editors and production teams to write and create the bulletins as well as doing the live bulletin presentation.
The successful candidates will work on a shift pattern which includes overnight working and regular weekend working.
You may also be expected to occasionally present and work on the BBC News Channel sports bulletins.

Requirements

Applicants must have significant experience of live TV presentation in a sport or news environment. You must also have experience of sports news journalism preferably with some evidence of dealing with international sports news stories. Other essential requirements are: an ability to work under pressure and deal with breaking news situations; to be able to work as an effective member of a team; evidence of being to build relationships with colleagues, managers, interviewees and audiences.
