BBC Sports News is looking for two presenters to work on sports bulletins produced from the BBC Sports centre in Salford Quays.
Sports News is the part of BBC Sport that provides the daily sports journalism and news stories for the whole of the BBC. The Sports centre provides multiplatform content for TV, radio and online teams and also generates sports news bulletins for the BBC News Channel, network TV news, BBC World Service and World TV News, and Radio 5 Live. 

Role

 
In this role you will primarily work with the TV Sports News output team presenting hourly sports news bulletins on the BBC News Channel. You will work closely with output editors and production teams to write and create the bulletins as well as doing the live bulletin presentation.
The successful candidates will work on a shift pattern which includes early starts and late finishes and regular weekend working.
You will also be expected to occasionally present and work on BBC World Sports News bulletins, and may be asked to work on overnight output.

Requirements

 
Applicants must have significant experience of live TV presentation in a sport or news environment. You must also have experience of sports news journalism preferably with some work as a field reporter. Other essential requirements are: an ability to work under pressure and deal with breaking news situations; to be able to work as an effective member of a team; evidence of being to build relationships with colleagues, managers, interviewees and audiences.
