Staff Physician with CEOC training.


Nyaya Health is a Nepali non-governmental organization working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population and the local community in Achham District to develop the health care system. Nyaya Health is currently seeking applications for an MBBS-trained Staff Physician with Comprehensive Essential Obstetric Care training for a full-time position at Bayalpata Hospital. Bayalpata Hospital is a full-service primary care hospital located near Sanfe Bagar in Achham district that serves an area of roughly 260,000 people.
STAFF PHYSICIAN
Responsibilities
  1. Work to support all clinical services – inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care.
  2. Assist in finalizing cesarean section capability at Bayalpata Hospital and conduct cesarean sections once the site is fully functional.
  3. Work across the clinical and community health teams to implement protocol development, data management, and cross-team programs.
  4. Ensure proper hospital data management in partnership with Nyaya Health’s Director of Data and Evaluation.
Contingent upon the candidate’s educational training and previous work experience, they may be considered for the position of Medical Director as well.
Required Qualifications
A competitive applicant will have completed his/her medical training through at least the MBBS level and will come with CEOC  training. S/he must be comfortable in an environment of high-patient volume (3000+ patients per month across OPD, IPD, and ER), and capable of performing cesarean sections. HIV and TB training is preferred though not required.
