Description: The Department of Nursing is seeking Part-Time Clinical Instructors to teach in courses representing a variety of populations with clinical placements in acute care and/or community practice settings. The courses will be taught during the 2012 - 2013 semesters. Work may include day, evening and weekend experiences. There is potential for continued employment.

Qualifications: • Baccalaureate degree required
• Current licensure with CARNA and a member in good standing
• Capacity to demonstrate excellence in nursing (practice, education, administration, and research
• Capacity to demonstrate excellence in teaching with a preference for prior teaching experience
• Recent relevant nursing practice
• Computer literacy
• Capacity to meet the School of Nursing Nurse Educator expectations and MRU contract requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Capacity to incorporate theory into practice
• Have at least two years of nursing experience (1125hrs)
