The Organisation

This will deliver a more sustainable future and robust business proposition for Offshore Europe, as well as enhanced development opportunities for individuals across the combined teams. With a joint portfolio producing over 100 kboe/ day, our goal is to continue building a truly excellent Exploration and Production business in Offshore Europe.
Position Summary
As part of a Recruitment team, the incumbent will be involved in the implementation and delivery of resourcing and recruitment campaigns to provide the right people, with the right capabilities, at the right time, and to the right standard to support Offshore Europe’s business plans.
Key Accountabilities
Liaise with the Recruitment Co-ordinator in the delivery of the entire recruitment lifecycle from requisition to appointment for a range of roles.
·         Liaise with HR Business Partners and Line Managers to identify business requirements.
·         Researching and using the most appropriate recruitment channels, including internal succession planning, direct recruiting, web and press advertising and agencies, etc.
·         Negotiation of permanent employment contracts for identified candidates (directly or via agency).
·         Liaise with the Recruitment Co-ordinator in the selection and on-boarding of UK graduates and summer placements including presenting at universities and running graduate assessment centres.
·         Tracking the progress of current and future recruitment requirements.
·         Ensuring that internal candidates are always provided with constructive feedback in relation to their status during the recruitment process.
·         Responsible for the development of induction process that interfaces with all relevant internal stake-holders (i.e. HSSE, L&D team, etc.) and ensure integrated approach to induction within Offshore Europe.
·         Establish and maintain good working relationships with the BG Group Preferred Suppliers (PSL) to ensure services they provide are of maximum benefit to the company, making recommendations for improvement when required.
·         Educate stake-holders to ensure non-PSL spend is minimised
·         Work with agencies to ensure they understand BG Group and provide high quality candidates.
·         Provide out of hours oncall ER (Emergency Response) for offshore operations on a rotational basis.
Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
·         Extensive experience in managing the recruitment process from initiation through to completion.
·         Experience recruiting in the oil and gas industry highly desirable.
·         Experience of an online e-recruitment system is desirable.
·         Experience in providing first line support.
·         Emergency Response Training desirable.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Additional Information for External Candidates
Required to cover rota for Emergency Response for offshore Operations
 
Required to travel regularly to Offshore Installations and Norway and TVP, Reading
