WaterAid Community and Events Intern

This internship has been created to support WaterAid's Community and Events Team. The main purpose of this post is to help maximise WaterAid's income and awareness from our activities, particularly through community groups, such as schools, faith groups and professional groups and also support our expanding volunteer network. This role will involve liaising with supporters and providing administrative support. 

This role is ideal for someone wishing to pursue a career in Community & Events Fundraising. Our team look after a variety of events and audiences, and we have ambitious plans to develop them. These plans rest on us maintaining a high level of supporter care, something that this role will be pivotal in helping us to deliver. 

This role is ideal for someone wishing to pursue a career in the charity sector, and looking to gain experience of working within a successful Community and Events Fundraising Team. The post holder will also gain an understanding of the database Raisers Edge, and knowledge of fundraising practices.
