Financial Systems Trainer, in Washington DC or Research Triangle Park, NC

FHI 360 serves more than 60 countries, all 50 U.S. states and all U.S. territories. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Financial Systems Trainer, in Washington DC or Research Triangle Park, NC.
Position Description:
This position is responsible for the design, development, management and execution of a learning plan as well as for the creation of a global community of Enterprise resource management facilitators. This person will serve as the main liaison with management and end-users in order to identify and assess learning needs, and to develop and execute a global learning plan focusing on FHI360’s ERP system
  • Determine the training and learning needs of FHI360 employees domestically and internationally in reference to the FHI360 ERP system.
  • Design a short-term (system deployment) and long-term (new hires and continuing education) training and learning plan.
  • Manage instructional learning events to convey the approved business process. This should include development of a training plan, curricula, workshops and materials.) 
  • Manage and conduct all necessary activities to create and develop a highly effective community of trainers/facilitators globally.
  • Ensure trainers/facilitators are able to expertly and effectively communicate content to other end-users.
  • Manage, build, develop and administer new hire training on the FHI360 ERP system.
  • Determine future course/learning event offerings to improve the technical knowledge of employees and to satisfy customer demand for advanced training.
  • Serve as the learning liaison with the enterprise financial system vendor.
  • Liaise with the learning and development team on design and methodology.
  • Manage learning event logistics.
  • Define and track Training Key Performance Indicators.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent in Education, Business, Finance or related field and at least 5+ years related work experience.  Demonstrated experience with adult learning methodologies and curriculum development techniques.  Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with client and staff.  Superior communication skills. Prior experience with international or cross cultural context is strongly preferred. Substantial experience using computerized information systems. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language as appropriate.
