About the role

As a member of the Resource Geology team, reporting to the Manager Resource Geology, the main objective of this key role is to provide;

• Management of peers including conducting peer reviews and maintaining internal quality control;
• Training and technical development of resource group personnel;
• Ensuring utilisation and revenue meets or exceeds budgeted targets;
• Ensuring that proposals are submitted and in accordance with established policies

About You

Ideally you will have;

• Minimum of a Bachelor degree from a recognised tertiary institution in Geology
• Membership of AusIMM, AIG or similar Recognised Overseas Professional Organisation
• Extensive practical background in the following: 
  • Open pit and underground mine geology (including grade control and reconciliation studies)
  • Resource definition (drilling)
  • Exploration geology
  • Database management
  • Geostatistics
• Skills in mining and geostatistical software, preferably Datamine, Vulcan, Surpac, Isatis
• Exposure to multiple commodities
• Demonstrated ability to apply project management processes to service delivery for medium to high complexity projects.
