BBC Breakfast – the most watched morning TV programme in Britain is seeking an experienced Production Management Assistant with BBC system knowledge, excellent organisational skills, drive, enthusiasm and the ability to slot into an already established team.

Role

The Production Management Assistant provides administrative support to the production team(s), in order to ensure the smooth and efficient running of productions.  You will work in partnership with editorial colleagues to deliver outstanding, distinctive, multi-platform content by supporting the ways to realise editorial ambitions within operational and financial constraints and provide specialist support using production management skills, knowledge and experience. 

Requirements

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines. You'll have a good awareness and interest in News and Current Affairs and have the ability to find information and resources as required. We're looking for a strong team worker who can manage relationships effectively and work collaboratively within a diverse team. In addition you'll have good business and finance skills and will be able to understand and work with budgets. Finally you must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
