Role

 As the Business Manager you will support the Deputy COO, BBC North in delivering the governance, compliance and support requirements of the Division. You will also support in meeting pan-North Compliance responsibilities (incl Editorial Compliance, Risk Management, and Data Protection, Fair Trading, Training, Diversity and Child Protection and draft additional papers, correspondence, briefings, reports and presentations as required, for both internal and external audiences

Requirements

With experience of providing business administration and management support at a senior level, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with and influence staff at all levels. With excellent organisation and planning skills you will have the ability to manage a demanding workload, often with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines. With the awareness of the complexities and sensitivities within the organisation, understanding and engaging stakeholders you will be able to work flexibly and collaboratively with teams within own Division and across the wider BBC
