Donor Relations Assistant , Arusha , Tanzania


The School of St Jude is a charity funded school that provides a FREE quality education to approximately 1,600 primary and secondary children from the poorest communities in Arusha. Additionally, the school now provides employment to over 400 Tanzanians. 
We are seeking an individual to join our Donor Relations Team based in Arusha, Tanzania at TheSchool of St Jude. The Donor Relations Team is responsible for receiving all donations to St Jude’s, including VIP donors. Every person who donates money or goods to the school receives a thank you from the Donor Relations Team.

A minimum commitment of 12 months is expected
Key Responsibilities:
    • Creating and updating thank you templates and presentations for donors
    • Sending out correspondence on a weekly basis to donors
    • Responding to queries from donors
    • Receiving, sorting and distributing donated goods
    • Assisting the coordinator with VIP specific projects
    • Assistance with student selection process 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong Computer skills in particular Microsoft Publisher or similar
  • Innovative writing skills in English
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Prior experience working in an office environment and desk-based job
  • An eye for photography!

Living Allowance:
