About the Unit
The Astronomy Unit (AU) at Queen Mary University of London has a vacancy for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work on the STFC-funded research project entitled “Planet formation in turbulent protoplanetary discs”. The AU’s Planetary Formation and Dynamics group carries out research into planetary formation and dynamics, protoplanetary disc evolution, planetary atmospheres, and the dynamics of Saturnian rings and satellites through involvement in the Cassini mission. We use state of the art numerical simulations, analytic theory, and analysis of data from spacecraft.
