The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate, supervise and monitor patient meal services and other catering functions, responsibilities include:
- Assist in the official / private catering functions across the University
- Ensure customer satisfaction by on floor inspection of customer handling at various food outlets within the campus to increase customer satisfaction.
- Maintain statuary requirements and codes of best practices with regard to food hygiene, safety and sanitation principle.
- Ensure optimal level of quality services to all the clients at various food outlets specifically during the peak hours.
- Contribute in accomplishing set goals and objectives for the assigned area.
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or services.
- Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity.
- Schedule staff hours and assign duties for designated staff.
- Train and develop the designated staff by various means.
- Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety.
- Assist in maintain high standards of sanitation and food hygiene
- Ensure that food and beverage requirements of the designated food outlet are maintained and monitored throughout the service time.
- Ensure the optimal level of food service delivery for patients and their attendants.
