Revenue Assurance Project Coordinator

Role Purpose JOB PURPOSE Co-ordinate revenue assurance projects to improve the Maturity Level of Revenue Assurance Functions across Millicom Operations. Key Responsibilities CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Project Co-ordination –  Co-ordinate revenue assurance projects, including the Project to standardize revenue assurance practices and processes. •  Automation – Define the automation roadmap together with operations and Monitor revenue assurance automation requirements and co-ordinate the Revenue Assurance and Fraud Tool requirements across operations. • Revenue Assurance Considerations for New systems Procurement - Co-ordinate with the procurement team to ensure Revenue Assurance considerations including controls and processes are included in procurement of billing/charging systems. • End to End Review – Establish a regular End to End review of Billing and Charging processes are carried out within operations • Benchmark – Benchmark revenue assurance practices against global standards to improve the maturity level of revenue assurance practices and processes.  Monitor KPIs to measure RA Maturity levels within operations and assist operations to draw up actions plan to reach desired maturity level • Billing and Network Assurance - Ongoing monitoring of Usage Generation, Processing , Rating & Billing of rated and free/packaged products for all revenue streams including but not limited to voice, data, MFS & Cable in operations • Knowledge Sharing – Co-ordinate knowledge sharing, and Mentoring projects to share revenue assurance best practices, cases with a view to improve RA Maturity levels across all operations • Bypass Detection – Co-ordinate the Project and Action plans to prevent and detect Bypass Traffic in operations Position Requirements QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • Technical/IT-Computer science/Finance Degree • Over 5 years’ experience  out of which 3 years in the telecommunications industry • Preferably at least 2 years previous revenue assurance, billing or audit experience ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE • Good Knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry and the Network •  Knowledge of Database and Query Tools CORE COMPETENCIES • Integrity • Technical Expertise • Audit Skills • Numerical and Analytical Skills • Project Management Skills • Communication Skills • Ability to influence others • Collaborate across functions Submit a CV/resume
