Sr Manager - IT Pharmacy Operations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Serve liaison between IT and Pharmacy division.
• Lead and create overall strategy and plans in migration of MOMS IT systems to AHF technical environment.
• Under general supervision of the Associate Chief Information, this individual plays a lead role with Application, Database management, reporting, interpretation and analysis, and presentations, in support of various performance improvement efforts for the IT Pharmacy system.
• Manage Production Support of IT Pharmacy Application system (Cerner).
• Work under the guidance of the Associate Chief Information Officer for the enhancement of current IT Pharmacy system.
• Manage the Local IT Pharmacy Database (Store Level Database)
• Develop various custom report in SQL / SSRS/ Crystal Report
• Develop custom Application using C#,VB.Net
• Coordinate with Data Team / Network Team for the Pharmacy data conversion.
• Work with Pharmacy team for any pharmacy acquisition.
• Identify and/or implement cost savings opportunities throughout the entire area to manage.
• Organize, lead, motivate and develop a professional team of IT staff within the special project team.
• Report and consult with Associate Chief Information Officer on operations/project status and strategies.
• Manage budgets for all special projects.
• 50% of position will be managerial, 50% hands on working with team.
• International travel required to develop a plan for special projects in global locations
Participation in AHF Meetings/Committees
Attends Business meetings and IT management meetings.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with AHF’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees and teams reporting to the position.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and/ or equivalent work experience required. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or MBA, preferred. A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Information Technology (IT) industry
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Very High Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Very High Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram forms. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Other Skills and Abilities
• Must have 10+ years of proven experience in people management of more than 10
• FTEs with exceptional team building and leadership background. Must have at least five years of experience as a director or higher level position.
• Prior leadership experience in a complex, multi-cultural, matrix management organization is required
• Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience is required.
• Experience in CMMI Level3 certification and/or ISO 20000 certification process preferred.
• Familiarity with Project Management principles and PMP preferred
• Certificate in MCSE, MCSD, MCDBA, Java/J2EE and/or SOA a plus
• Strong ITSM background required - ITIL Foundation Certificate a plus
• Six Sigma Awareness (Green Belt an asset) a plus
• HIPAA Compliance experience is required
• Global market experience a plus

• Valid driver's license with proof of liability insurance..
