Territory Sales Manager - Major Projects

DESCRIPTION
The primary objective for the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is to identify single sales objectives of significant or strategic value and manage the internal process to capture these objectives in major project opportunities within Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Maritimes, Nunavut)
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage in a professional manner incoming sales calls from potential clients and prepare the necessary paperwork to either produce a quotation or produce an internal request for pricing (RFQ).
  • Follow up on all quotations sent within a specified time frame.
  • Produce project paperwork as required to properly execute the project in accordance to all company policies.
  • Prospect via industry periodicals on a weekly basis.
  • Monitor and report competitor and industry data.
  • Update and submit monthly sales funnel reports to Senior Director Sales North America.
  • Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Be perpetually engaged in the development and enhancement of the selling process by identifying opportunities, understanding buyer motivations, identifying competitive strengths/weaknesses, dealing with buyer objections, etc...
  • Travel within territory as required.
  • Strict accountability for efficient time/resource management
  • Conduct yourself in a manner which is in accordance with the code of ethics and policies of the company.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with buying influences for the major project opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an external support network to enable the capture of opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post secondary education in a business like or related field
  • Minimium of five years experience in sales and management of major projects submissions
  • Aptitude to learn and work alongside a like minded team
  • Self-starter working with limited direct supervision
  • Fluently bilingual (French/English) both verbal and written
  • Basic knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
