Introduction

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Midwife, Consulting Clinic.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for:

carrying out basic initial assessment and patient need identification
assisting doctor/nurse while performing procedures and examination
ensuring delivery of quality care to all assigned patient according to need assessment
performing catheterization, N/G, O/G, dressing after certification
ensuring timely and complete documentation of all procedures performed as per unit protocol

Requirements

Applicants should have:

Diploma in Midwifery from an accredited school
valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
at least one year of work experience with a reputable hospital
ability to communicate effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing
ready to work in all three shifts
