Director General Economic Development

In this role you will lead on delivering DFID’s Economic Development Strategy, and have direct responsibility for an annual programme spend of £1.8 billion in 2013/14.  You will set direction for, engage and galvanise a team of 150 staff.
You will represent DFID and the UK Government at high level meetings of the international development community, and be part of the Cabinet Secretary’s Top 200 team that leads the Civil Service.
