Senior Knowledge Management Advisor
Overseas Strategic Consulting, Ltd. (OSC) seeks a Senior Knowledge Management Advisor for a project to improve the quality and effectiveness of high-impact, evidence-based HIV and AIDs interventions on a global scale.
The Senior Knowledge Management Advisor will be responsible for ensuring that research findings, models and lessons from a high-impact evidence-based HIV/AIDs prevention and treatment programs are readily available to a wide range of policy makers and program implementers worldwide. The advisor will develop innovative approaches to synthesize programmatic data and research findings for dissemination to a broad audience.
Requirements:
• A Master’s degree or higher in applied science
• A minimum of 10 years of experience planning, establishing, and directing a wide range of learning and knowledge-sharing activities that support and advance collaboration, learning, use and adaptation of both evidence-based and experiential knowledge, such as communities of practices, partners meetings, and online engagements.
• Experience assessing knowledge-sharing needs and identifying appropriate dissemination and learning activities and programs.
• Experience providing assistance and expertise in designing and implementing communication approaches appropriate to developing country contexts; conducting workshops and trainings; and overseeing website development, content management and supporting the IT needs of a project.
• Experience in the use of new and emerging technology.
• Programmatic experience on combination prevention and treatment international health projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills as well as strong writing and oral presentation skills.
