As HR Intern you will work closely with the HR Director Europe providing administrative support to the UK platform. You will be involved in all the day-to-day HR matters, being the first point of contact for the employees in our London office. As part of a European team, you will be involved also in a variety of short-term and long-term cross country projects. You will have the possibility to build a HR generalist experience, working on HR-related assignments and tasks.
Your responsibilities will cover:

• Liaise with the HR Admin Service Centre (Global Operations) in order to ensure efficient HR payroll and staffing administration services, as well as filter and redirect employee’s administrative queries.
• Assist line managers with recruitment activities for various functions, preparing and posting Job Descriptions, participating to the interviews, providing feedbacks and liaising with Agencies where needed.
• Run the on-boarding process for new employees, working with different partners in defining the offer, producing the contract, completing the background check, etc.
• Provide full support to the employees for the Life Cycle related queries, such as Maternity and Paternity Leave, Exit Process, Transfers, Promotions, Job Details Changes and so on
• Support the HR Team in the HR Year Processes of Performances Evaluations, Salary Reviews, Bonus Planning and so on.
• Support the training program, including owning and maintaining the training dashboard and updating employee learning tracking for UK and Europe.
• Collaborate with cross-businesses HR professionals, in order to share Best Practices, develop standardized HR processes across GE and Talent Share activities.
• General collaboration with HR European team with all administration requirements and all other ad hoc duties.
• Master and/or Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or other related disciplines
• Fluent in English
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Ability in decision making and taking initiatives
• Effective time management and organizational skills with high attention to details; ability to balance multiple priorities
• Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
