| As part of the Legal department of GE Capital Real Estate, this internship will be in support of the Legal & Regulatory team. As part of this operational internship, you will be expected to take ownership of project initiatives and will be granted a large degree of autonomy while working under the supervision of your internship director. | |
| You will assist the Regulatory Counsel with the following projects: - Support corporate governance requirements as part of CRD IV implementation in France - Conduct legal analysis in regards to requirements under local banking regulation (banking secrecy, outsourcing…) - Conduct research on legal and regulatory topics pertaining to France and potentially other jurisdictions (AML, competition law, data privacy…) - Assist with CNIL filings and support for data privacy topics for France and Europe - Assist with Early Warning System update and coordination - Provide translation assistance for regulatory communications and documentation - Support for sorting and classification of documents - Assist draft regulatory communications | |
