Candidates will have a PhD in a relevant discipline (although exceptionally, comparable research and practical experience may be taken as a substitute) and an excellent research and publication record with experience and interest in bridging research with practice and policy.

A demonstrated capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team and with partners from a wide range of countries is essential, as well as a commitment to participatory values and horizontal and collaborative team working.Applications from those with a strong background in postgraduate teaching and convening will be particularly welcome.

Finally, it is vital that applicants demonstrate a track record of fundraising, obtaining grants, research awards and consultancies to allow them to pursue both independent and collaborative research.
