The University of Dar es Salaam invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to be considered for immediate employment to fill the following vacant posts
Job Title: Inspector of Works I (1 post)
Department: Estates
(a) Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of a B.Se. Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
At least four years working experience in similar position.
(b) Main Duties:
Implements maintenance policies pertaining to buildings;
Evaluates maintenance progress reports and makes recommendations; .
Advises on issues related to the maintenance and repair of buildings;
Maintains the necessary drawings and maintenance manuals required for effective and efficient maintenance operations on buildings and equipment; and
Performs any other duties assigned by one's reporting officer.
