Policy Advisers

Which? is the UK’s largest consumer organisation; we work to make consumers as powerful as the organisations they deal with in their daily lives, and we influence and shape consumer policy that affects each of us every day.  We are building a new high-performing policy team that will focus on the issues that are important for consumers today and in the future, helping to underpin all of Which?’s work.

The Policy Advisers will work as members of a dynamic group of senior policy analysts, economists and researchers on a very wide range of projects.  They will work with colleagues to develop innovative policy solutions to a broad range of consumer issues, and contribute to the successful conclusion of policy projects.  Working as part of an energetic team, the Policy Advisers will help to ensure that Which? is a respected, evidence based, source of consumer policy in the UK.

To excel in this role, you will need excellent analytical skills, written and oral communication skills, and a strong appreciation of and commitment to policies that will further the interests of consumers.  You will have experience of working as part of a team on multi-disciplinary projects, delivering high quality outputs on time and on budget.  Good candidates will be strong team players and will ideally bring experience of working in a policy/economic/research role in a public policy, government, regulatory or other relevant environment.
