An opportunity has now arisen to recruit a SQL Database Analyst.
The Database Analyst will be responsible for the provision, configuration, administration, support and monitoring of the SQL databases managed by IT Services. He/she will, under the guidance and direction of the Database Officer, ensure the databases perform to meet the expectations of our users, remain secure from unauthorised access and are appropriately backed up. The Database Analyst will be the first point of contact for database issues and will escalate to the Database Officer as appropriate.
Reporting to the IT Operations Systems Manager and whilst you will be part of the IT Operations Team, you will also work alongside the Applications Team, the Project Management Office and most importantly our customers, so great communications and presentation skills are essential.
