At the UK Data Archive we acquire, curate and preserve the UK's largest collection of digital social and economic data. We then make it available to researchers, teachers, think tanks, government researchers and businesses around the world through the UK Data Service, the UKs flagship portal for research resources. Since 2005 our Archive has been designated a Place of Deposit by The National Archives.
We are seeking to appoint a User Interface Developer to be part of a small team that is responsible for the design, development, quality assurance and maintenance of all aspects of the User Interfaces pertaining to the Archive’s product portfolio.
Among other skills and experience the successful candidate will be a post-graduate in a computing related discipline with experience of: using standards compliant HTML and CSS; designing and authoring JavaScript; producing graphical content for web sites; performing quality assurance of web sites; configuration/skinning/customisation of Content Management Systems.
This is a full time, fixed-term position until 30th September 2017.
The UK Data Archive is ISO 27001, certified for Information Security Management.
