Country Representative - Papua New Guinea

Salary: Competitive International NGO salary and benefits package

Budget: Responsible for a budget of AUD$1 million

You'll join us during an exciting time of establishing an office in Port Moresby, building on our 7 years work with local partners in East Sepik Province and the Highlands. You will develop and implement our new Country Strategy, providing visionary leadership to our regional program office.

To excel in this role you must have had an impressive track record in program management at senior management level and an in-depth knowledge of PNG social, political and development issues. You will be a resilient person able to live and work in challenging environments. The role also calls for excellent people skills, strategic thinking and communication skills.

WaterAid is a child safe organisation. The successful applicant will be required to provide a satisfactory criminal record check from the Australian Federal Police or country of residence
