The United Nations Office for Project Services seeks a highly qualified Programme Manager (P5) to be based in Geneva, Switzerland, to implement the WSSCC's sanitation grants programme (www.wsscc.org).This post aims to improve sanitation and hygiene for large numbers of people through the effective and efficient management of the Global Sanitation Fund (GSF). Duties and responsibilities include programme management, team management, trust fund management, systems development and external relations. The Programme Manager is a senior staff member and serves on the Management Team at the WSSCC Secretariat, which is a unit within the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

The Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) was established in 1990 and recognised in United Nations General Assembly resolution A/RES/45/181. WSSCC works to accelerate the provision of sanitation, hygiene and drinking water services for poor people in developing countries, with special attention to the un-served poor.
