We seek qualified candidates for the position of Associate Director, Prevention & Mitigation based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Position Responsibilities:
FHI 360 seeks an Associate Director (AD) Prevention & Mitigation to protect and promote the health of our target groups, with tangible improvements through technical leadership, innovation and oversight of FHI 360's prevention and mitigation portfolios in Cambodia. The AD Prevention & Mitigation will take a holistic view, developing improved access to/uptake of other appropriate services such as contraceptive & STI services; hepatitis vaccination, and sexual assault services.
  • Provides technical leadership by developing the franchise concept in conjunction with donors and partners.
  • Provides technical leadership and direction in the development of innovative strategies to target most at risk populations.
  • Represents FHI 360 in relevant strategic meetings and events to provide technical leadership in the areas of prevention and mitigation.
  • Provides technical input on advances in the fields of prevention and mitigation.
  • Represents FHI 360 and makes presentations at professional meetings and conferences.
  • Identifies, supervises, oversees and mentors the prevention and mitigation unit to ensure high quality technical assistance and oversight is provided in FHI 360 supported sites.
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience:
BS/BA in public health or related field, and 7 - 9 years relevant experience with international development programs. Overseas field experience required.
or MS/MA in public health, MBA or related field, and 5 - 7 years relevant experience with international development programs. Overseas field experience required.
