The Deputy Director will assist the office of the Director with managing the ITS division in terms of planning, implementing the ITS strategic and action planning and general administration. The incumbent will be responsible for effective implementation of data analytic across all ITS units via the unit managers, and for providing reports and synthesized information to the appropriate management levels and coordinate the implementation of ITIL framework across all of ITS.

Applicants must have a Masters in relevant ICT discipline areas and substantial years of working experience in a similar role; ensure ITS is well informed at all times of changes and news worthy events within USP; effectively communicates relevant IT related information to supervisors and handle staffing matters; and be responsible for promoting USP by participating at industry conferences and with local business organisation.
The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.

Salary Range: Band 5 F$99,311 to F$111,726 per annum (Inclusive of 15% Gratuity)

In addition to the above benefits, the University contributes 10% of basic salary to an approved superannuation scheme, provides airfare and relocation costs where appropriate.
