Description of the work experience
The intern will be in the headquarters of our association in Brussels in charge of all the administrative tasks and translation of different kind of documents into English and French, organisation of events in the European Parliament and in the different countries that have the Presidency of the European Council.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in European affairs and/or architectural and urban issues;
  • Native or excellent English (written and oral);
  • Fluent French (written and oral);
  • Good communication skills;
  • Fully computer literate;
  • Ability to adapt in a small but highly motivated team.

Tasks to be carried out
Under the direction of the project manager, the intern will work, within the framework of the Danish Presidency of the European Council.

  • To assist the project manager in the organization of EFAP events, in particular in Denmark and Cyprus and a meeting with the directors of architecture.
  • Compiling and translating documents into French and English
  • Developing and following the activities and events related to architecture during each Presidency
  • To complete synthesis and research tasks, translating and drafting of documents for the members and partners.
  • To assist the office of Brussels in its daily functioning.
  • Community manager: updating the web and the different networks; looking for new European members.

Economic supplements:
Supplement type: 400 euros/month. The intern needs a legal framework (University, European Exchange programme, etc)

University qualifications
Candidate's area of knowledge: Social and legal sciences, architecture, communication, languages.

Computer science knowledge
Computing level required: Knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc)
