RBM Expert Roster Call for Proposals

The Roll Back Malaria Partnership is looking for qualified consultants (at both the entry and expert levels) to support countries (and RBM sub-Regional Networks) with the following activities:

1. Writing Global Fund malaria proposals;
2. Preparing phase 2 funding requests;
3. Negotiating/Signing Global Fund grants;
4. Consolidating existing Global Fund malaria grants;
5. Development of M&E plans;
6. Facilitating M&E Systems Strengthening Tool consultations;
7. Developing malaria/disease surveillance systems;
8. Development of PSM country profiles/plans;
9. Quantification of malaria commodities;
10. Management of drugs and medical supplies;
11. LLIN mass distribution campaign planning;
12. Planning continuous distribution of LLINs through routine EPI and ANC systems;
13. Conducting entomological evaluation including sampling;
14. Insecticide resistance testing;
15. Developing detailed budgets and workplans for Global Fund proposals;
16. Reviewing malaria programme implementation;
17. Managing Malaria Programme Reviews;
18. Development of Malaria National Strategic Plans;
19. Development of Malaria Operational Plans;
20. Managing Global Fund grants;
21. Programme management;
22. Planning and management of large meetings;
23. Community systems strengthening;
24. Health systems strengthening;
25. Malaria elimination programme development/management.

CVs will be reviewed by subject matter experts and only those CVs meeting specific expertise criteria*, will be retained in the RBM Expert Roster. Accepted CVs will be retained in the RBM expert roster for a period of two years. Only consultants being considered for specific assignments will be contacted. It is anticipated that the RBM expert roster will eventually be made public online through the RBM website. Confidential information will not be posted. Please indicate if you do not want your CV to be posted on a public access website.

*Consultants can choose to be considered as entry-level professionals (advanced degree with one to four years of relevant experience) or experts (advanced degree with at least five years of relevant experience).
