A vacancy for a Co-Pilot/contract pilot exists at Tsb Sugar situated in the Lowveld, Mpumalanga. The incumbent will report to the Chief Pilot and will primarily be responsible for assisting the Chief Pilot with flight duties and responsibilities.
We require the services of a person with a minimum of 2000 hours total time, a commercial pilot’s licence (twin IF) South African CAA, multi-crew 500 hours (CRM) and 500 hours’ jet experience. Furthermore, candidates need at least 3 years’ operational experience as a corporate jet pilot or twin turbine charter pilot, a minimum of 150 hours IF operational experience and Primus 1000 glass experience (minimum 150 hours). Applicants not qualifying for the minimum hours should not apply. The ideal candidate should have above-average knowledge of air navigation regulations, Jepperson, jet aircraft operation, the weather, telephonic procedures and flight planning.
Current SEPT, DG, CLASS I Medical as well as RVSM and TCAS experience are essential. Strong computer skills are required (for monthly reports and invoices relating to flight department costs) and the ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy are critical to this position. Action-orientated self-starters with well-developed communication skills and sober habits should apply.
