Fixed Plant Electrical Technician Australia

Currently we are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrical Technician at Darlot Gold Mine. Darlot Mine is an underground operation located on the Norseman/Wiluna Greenstone Belt, approximately 660 kilometres northeast of Perth, Western Australia.

In order to be successful you will have an Electrical Trade qualification and knowledge of Electrical standards and regulations & Mines Safety and Inspections Act and Regulations, as well as be competent in processing plant operation and process control. The ability to work as part of a dynamic team is essential.

Your electrical background will include

experience and skills in fault finding and maintenance in a heavy industrial / mining environment;
Exposure to PLC preferred but not essential, training provided
Possession of a High Voltage Switching Certificate, A Grade Electrical license is a must.
Experience working with instrumentation ,in particular Flow /pressure/ and level indicators would be highly desirable
Be a team player and have strong work ethic with a Safety focus
You will have a proactive approach towards safe work practices, comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, and contribute to site safety management/programs/improvements.
Flexibility with work hours, cover call outs and also carry out duties after normal work hours

This position is fly in/fly out from Perth on a 8 days on 6 days off roster. Excellent on-site accommodation is provided. Recreational facilities include internet café, Foxtel, swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, and gymnasium.
