BBC ONE was the UK's first television channel and it still reaches a larger audience than any other with a remit to offer a broad range of high quality programmes. We’re looking to appoint a Head of Marketing for BBC ONE and Drama to provide outstanding strategic marketing expertise to develop and implement a brand and marketing strategy across BBC ONE, Drama and relevant TV programme brands in context of the overarching BBC Brand Strategy.

With an impressive record of strategic and creative success in the field of marketing gained at a senior level, you'll have experience of developing new and effective brand and marketing strategies and managing a major brand throughout its lifecycle. You'll have a track record in leading and developing significant and highly successful creative marketing campaigns across TV and digital and be able to work with and manage senior stakeholders either editorial or client based.

You'll be able to traslate audience insights and research in to a brand strategy, marketing plan, and effective campaign briefs. Being a strategic thinker, you'll be able to articulate a vision and goals and able to generate, or catalyse in others, innovative ideas and approaches and to translate these into practical realities in the short, medium and long term. You'll also be a successful leader with experience of line management and development during a time of change and potential ambiguity.
