Indonesia Partnership Director, AIPMNH
The Program Coffey International Development in cooperation with the Nossal Institute for Global Health and GIZ International Services is managing the AusAID-funded Australia Indonesia Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health (AIPMNH). AIPMNH is an initiative to assist the Indonesian government to implement the National Making Pregnancy Safer (MPS) strategies and to improve public administration and health service delivery at the provincial level and selected districts through Nusa Tenggara Timur.
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Partnership Director for this flagship health program in Indonesia.
The Position The Partnership Director will be responsible for strategic oversight of AIPMNH, specifically for: leading, planning, coordinating and managing technical support to GoI agencies at provincial and district level. The position will maintain high-level and strong working relationships with senior GoI counterparts within provincial and district agencies to ensure institutional reform is achieved through appropriate technical and public sector management strategies and methodology.
To be considered for this position, applicants will need appropriate post-graduate qualifications and will need to demonstrate substantial experience in leading development programs and teams in Asia-Pacific. Specific experience in the management and delivery of technical assistance to strengthen public sector service delivery at the sub-national level is essential. Previous experience in the health sector is desirable as is a strong knowledge and understanding of GoI systems and procedures, AusAID policies and cross cutting issues. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and advanced Indonesian language skills are required for success.
